ABOUT ME
Hi I am Dr.Alka, a Dentist by profession and an avid reader, writer, melodist and artist by passion.

I'm a published author. My first novel which I penned at the age of eleven "Chichu Enna Pravu" (Chichu the Dove) earned me the prestegious Limca Book of National Records & "The youngest Malayalam novelist” title. The publisher was Saindhava Books, Quilon. I have several other publications of short stories and poems in various magazines.
Writing is where I find my true solace. My eager for creative writing started since the day I started reading letters together. Of course they weren't poems but they were an attempt of creation of a little girl who dreamt something big. Even now, rather than twisted words I try to keep them simple so my readers can go with the flow. If you ask me, poems are my favorite because I can transform my thoughts & imaginations in to few lines.
So with a note of big warm welcome to all my readers, I am wrapping my intro here.
